About Fr Matthew P. Schneider, LC

In 2001, I traveled from Calgary, Canada to join the Legion. Since then I’ve been all over North America and spent some time in Rome. I currently reside in Washington doing a bunch of writing and taking care of the community while studying my Licentiate in Theology (between Masters and Doctorate). I’m most well-known on Instagram and Twitter where I have about 6,500 and 40,000 followers respectively.

Thank the Pope on Twitter

The Presentation

The Room

What does a room say about someone? We can all remember that guy in college who we assumed was a biology major from the stuff growing in his dorm room. We can all remember a film where there is this … Continue reading

Josh Harris Gave Me a Vocation

I am sure some of you remember Josh Harris. But for the rest, I’ll give a little refresher. Joshua Harris is the author of I Kissed Dating Goodbye, a book that has sold over 1 million copies. His thesis is … Continue reading

Hidden Service

For almost two years, I ran the library with great efficiency. We added more than 6,000 new books to the system and reduced the turn-around time when books were asked for by 80 percent. I say “we” because I could … Continue reading

Kings

In the Legion we have a unique tradition that we do once a year: Kings! Every Epiphany, a few LCs dress up as kings and tell jokes about the community. At the same time, a few others prepare some videos … Continue reading
