This past Saturday all of the brothers studying here in Rome had a wonderful grace: a mass at the altar where they moved John Paul II after his beatification. John Paul is now under one of the altars up in St Peter’s rather than where he used to lie in the crypt underneath the basilica. Given that people were waiting in line after the beatification for an hour just to see the body after the Beatification, I thought getting Mass on that altar (only 2 per day) would be almost impossible. Somehow, somebody got permission so the whole community went there Saturday
morning at 7am. The main celebrant was Fr Óscar Nader, our territorial director here, and most of the priests concelebrated. John Paul is really up in the Father’s house praying for each of us, and for the movement and Legion as a whole.
