The furnace of God’s mercy

”There is no misery that could be a match for My mercy, neither will misery exhaust it, because as it is being granted-it increases. The soul that trusts in My mercy is most fortunate, because I myself take care of it.” — St. Faustina

It should be encouraging for us to think that some of the worst sinners are now considered the greatest saints in heaven. The Good Thief, St. Mary Magdelene (prostitute), St. Augustine (life of intense promiscuity), and so many others! Shake off your past! Go to Confession and let it burn in the furnace of God’s mercy, and begin anew! Encourage your family members and friends that may have strayed from the Church to come back and allow themselves to be washed clean in this Sacrament of God’s love! Christ wants all of us to finish strong and join him in heaven for all eternity!
