Mary never said “no” to God

The Blessed Virgin Mary’s only passion and only desire was to fulfill God’s Will in each moment. Virgin birth? No room in the Inn? Flight to Egypt? Poverty and simplicity in Nazareth? Death of Joseph? Passion and death of Jesus? 2000 years of being a spiritual “mom” to the entire world? Mary has never said “no” to God and God has rewarded her with a super abundance of grace, peace and joy. Thank you, Mary for this incredible example!

Father Michael Sliney was ordained a priest in Rome on December 24, 1998. He studied mechanical engineering at Michigan State University for two years before entering the Legion. As a seminarian he earned a bachelors in philosophy from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas and degrees in philosophy and theology from the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum College in Rome. He works with youth groups in the Washington D.C. area.
