Ask God for Wisdom

“She (wisdom) is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.”  Proverbs 3:15

Wisdom is superior to acquired experience or knowledge.  Wisdom sees the “whole picture” from God’s perspective and will always look for our greatest temporal and eternal good and that of others.  Instead of asking God for power, money, fame or pleasure, etc…King Solomon asked God for wisdom, and God was so impressed, he gave him wisdom and everything else (1 Kings 3:1-28).   Life can be so complicated!  There are so many big and small decisions that can deeply affect our family, friends and work place…we need God’s help!  We need to ask God for this gift of wisdom!
