“Modern man experiences the threat of spiritual indifference and even of the death of conscience; and this death is something deeper than sin, it is the killing of the sense of sin.” (Blessed Pope John Paul II, Angelus, April 1, 1979)
I go to Confession once a week. I sin every day…nothing major (thanks be to God), but as a priest, I know that even minor sins offend Christ and I want my friendship always to be very strong. Christ is ready and willing to forgive your impatience, judgmental thoughts, unkind words, selfishness, impurity in thought and action, etc…Take advantage of this huge gift and re-establish your friendship with Christ! Restore peace to your aching hearts!!
