Three Tips for Lent

1. More and better prayer: (Daily Mass or rosary, Gospel meditation, etc. ) and try to pray better in an area that is most difficult for you. Christ PRAYED for 40 days in the desert!

2. Pick your porcupine: be extra nice to one person every day and in a very special way…beautiful way to make your heart grow and allow Christ to love that difficult soul through you.

3. Give up something material: It should “hurt” but you also need to be realistic. Offer this up for a good intention! Christ also fasted for 40 days in the desert!

Goal: Lent is a spiritual boot camp to help our soul re-focus on transformation into Christ. No better way than through intense prayer, deep charity and self denial, all out of love for Christ and for all the souls who he has entrusted to us. Be assured of my prayers!!
