Love for the Sacred Heart of Christ

“The cross has accompanied me from the cradle; but then, Jesus has made me love it passionately.” (St. Therese of Lisieux)

I have always had a huge devotion to the Sacred Heart of Christ. A heart that is wounded and hurt by the sins of so many, and yet looks to his friends for a little consolation and solace. When it’s really tough, when it’s hard to be faithful or patient or charitable or forgiving…imagine the hands of Jesus pointing to his heart and the eyes of Jesus looking directly at you, asking; “Do you love me? Can you do this out of love for me?”
