“My” Projects

The week between exams and vacation is always hectic in the library since we need to receive all the text books and pass out all the summer reading at once. Last year I think I described it well in another post. This year was set to be even crazier as I had to edit a 200-page English translation done by a team of brothers to unify it and fix some technical issues.

Then – if you have been reading you already know this – my mom almost died. All these plans went out the window.

Before I left, I told one “number 2” directly to figure it out on his own and left a note for the other. Once my mom started improving, I began to worry that they would be done right since my directions were at most 2 lines. But I couldn’t do anything.

When I got back, both were immaculate. The brother translating had spent a good portion of his short vacation redoing some parts and double-checking everything. The library was perfect. I had figured I would have to check in all the textbooks but ’twas not to be. How much we need to trust others.
