Love for God and Others

Silence. 30 days without talking. One would think that after about day three we would either be floating or crazy but it seems that just the opposite was the case.

We would sit down to the table. Then boom! Even before you would think you would need something there it was. I posted before about how we almost fight to serve each other water first, on month-long spiritual exercises this went to a new degree making it almost the whole meal.

Then again, doesn’t that make sense. When we love God, we are more open to love others. I remember reading some author say that all our problems with others come from problems with ourselves and all our problems with ourselves com from problems with God. It is amazing went that relationship with God is in order.
