During my recent visit home, I went with my mom to visit some of her friends in the nursing home. She went out of her way to introduce me to so many joyful and upbeat elderly people and after a few minutes of conversation, it was easy to see how their deep Faith was making their otherwise unbearable situation, even sweet and joyful. They had a “reason to endure it.”
