The woman is at the heart of the home

“The woman is at the heart of the home. Let us pray that we women realize the reason for our existence: to love and be loved and through this love become instruments of peace in the world.” Blessed Mother Theresa

Growing up in Bloomfield Hills, MI was amazing, but very intense. We played sports all year round and there was a high level of expectation to succeed in everything. So, it was critical for me and my brothers and sister to have a mom with a huge, loving heart…we needed it!! Seeing my mom’s warm, joyful smile was like coming into the living room with a warm fire and a mug of hot chocolate after playing hockey for 3 hours in freezing weather. Daily Mass and daily rosary pumped her heart with this grace and warmth, and I will be eternally grateful!
