The Power of Example

“Good example is the most efficacious apostolate. You must be as lighted lanterns and shine like brilliant chandeliers among men. By your good example and your words, animate others to know and love God.” — St. Mary Joseph Rossello

Certain people simply light up a room.  Their joy, their enthusiasm, their humility and desire to serve…it’s a combination of so many things (rooted in a deep prayer life and love for Christ) and it is very noticeable and inspiring.  I see it in the faces of so many moms who have their kids in our youth programs.  I see their tired but joyful face behind the wheel, I observe their patience as the kids jump out of the car, often forgetting their backpacks and leaving the doors wide open,…I see it when I come over for a meal and observe the house to be so clean, the table perfectly set, the meal prepared with so many details.  Most of them are truly angels, and I am blessed to have them in my lives. Thank you for your example!
