Prayers from the Heart

“God looks neither at long nor beautiful prayers, but at those that come from the heart.” (St. John Vianney)

There is a huge difference between dry, efficient communication and “heart-felt” communication. Do we address Christ as our Lord, King, brother and faithful friend? He has eyes, he has a Sacred Heart, he has feelings, he is fully human and fully God! Personally, I definitely speak to my mom and my siblings in a more loving way…the relationship is more intense and intimate. Christ is family! Christ made you, he died for you and he loves you more than anyone else. Christ deserves your deference, respect and heart felt communication!
