Mother’s Day Poem 2011

Like a cherry blossom in full bloom,
Like a chandelier lighting a room,
Their smile takes away all our gloom.

Selflessness is a mom’s middle name,
Her focus is not fortune or fame,
Love burns in her heart like a bright flame.

Mom’s are taken for granted too much!
For they always come through in the clutch.
How could we survive without their touch?

Yet Mary has shown all moms the way.
She raised the Son of God from the hay,
She taught Jesus how to love and pray.

Pray for your mom on this Mother’s Day!
