Journey of the Eucharist, Day 5 — the Congress

boothToday we received reinforcements. Two consecrated women and two lay people from Regnum Christi joined us. Our Mission was to prepare the Regnum Christi booth at the Convention Center, where all the activities of the Congress will take place. As you can see in the picture, they did a great job. Side by side with other groups and movements of the Church, Regnum Christi will be presenting our charism and spirituality to the pilgrims. We`ll also have a consecrated woman and a Legionary sharing about vocations.

One of the lay people helping us is Kiko, an RC member from Hong Kong. She actually will be formally joining the movement in a special RC gathering during the Congress. I was very impressed to see her enthusiasm and appreciation for her vocation to Regnum Christi. It`s amazing to see how God can work his wonders throughout cultures and nations and gather us all together in Christ.

At the end of the day we received another gift from God. We were preparing to have Mass at the little chapel in our hotel with a diocesan priest from the US. Unexpectedly, two bishops from the Czech Republic showed up to concelebrate. So, we`re able to have Holy Mass all together, people from different continents, in that little, quiet room, accompanied by two successors of the apostles. This is the International Eucharistic Congress in action! God bless!
