Pray for peace

Fr Luis Garza LC, territorial director for the North American Territory, has asked all of us to keep those people affected by the violence in Venezuela in our prayers.

If you have been watching the news of late, you have seen so many unfortunate reminders of how violent our world can be.  Venezuela has special concern for us because of the presence of Legionaries, consecrated members and Regnum Christi lay members.

Fr Josef Hare LC, territorial secretary in Venezuela, reports that the Legion and consecrated communities are in quiet areas and are safe, although some activities have been cancelled.  He says there is much uncertainty and we must all pray for a peaceful solution to the crisis.

I’ll be adding the people of Venezuela to my prayers, along with those in Ukraine and other places suffering from fear and violence.
