Babies and Love

Love: no matter how cute or ugly a baby is, he always inspires love. All babies are lovable because they are weak. No matter if you are rich or poor, king or queen, businessman or businesswoman, student, athlete, shepherd or magi… all of them are in awe before a baby. A baby is an “icon” of love and in this case that baby is Love himself; that baby came to unite peoples of all cultures and classes. He to teach us is the real meaning of love: self-giving!

Pope Francis tells us: “God does not need an army to fight evil in the world; He uses the victorious weapons of Love and Humility.”

Let’s try to learn the lesson of the Manger Scene: detachment of all material and worldly things, silence of all noise and unity and closeness with those around us so we can truly live and experience the words of the season: JOY, PEACE, HOPE AND LOVE.

“The life of a family is filled with beautiful moments… But if love is missing, joy is missing, nothing is fun. Jesus gives always gives us that love: he is its endless source.” – Pope Francis
