Crown Jewel of a person’s life

“Virtue is nothing without the trial of temptation, for there is no conflict without an enemy, no victory without strife.” – Saint Leo the Great

Fidelity to marriage vows is the crown jewel of a person’s life and the greatest gift you can offer your kids. My mom and dad had plenty of bumps and challenges in their 47 years of marriage. My dad being a type A, very direct person, coupled with my mom’s extreme sensitivity, provided plenty of opportunities for deep virtue. They prayed, went to Confession and Mass often, and asked for each other’s forgiveness again and again…thanks mom and dad!!
