Her smile was a gift, a beautiful thing!

“Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” (Blessed Mother Theresa)

I can only visualize my mom with a humble and generous smile on her face. Her smile brought peace at the dinner table. Her smile healed my wounded pride after a tough day at school. Her smile and good sense of humor made our long drives with 6 in the car to Myrtle beach and Virginia beach more bearable. Her smile was the first thing I saw in the morning as she came in from 6:15 AM Mass, and the last thing I saw before going to bed as she prayed the rosary. Her smile was “a gift, a beautiful thing!”
