The Heroic Family

Given today’s culture, anyone who can hold a family together is doing something heroic.  But what about a devoutly Catholic couple with 14 children working through business setbacks and life-threatening cancer?

Now…that is heroic.  It also is a true story.  And when you learn a bit about Kathleen and
Jim Littleton, you’ll understand that the heroism comes with joy and a quiet, deep faith that inspires everyone around them.

You can read their story on the main Regnum Christi website:  Healed through Cancer – Regnum Christi

And you can find our how to help this remarkable couple who have weathered amazing challenges here:  Love For Littletons

The Littletons need our prayers – and practical help to handle severe financial burdens.  Most of all, they have earned our gratitude for their example of heroic faith.

It was my honor to meet the Littletons and write a story about them for the RC website. I was deeply impressed at their commitment to a sacramental life, which I believe is the key to their strength. Those of us with smaller crosses can learn a lot about how to live a holy life. They set a high bar, but so did Jesus. May God continue to bless this wonderful family, and help all of us to live life with the hope of the Littletons.
