Trust in Christ

“And he said to them, ‘Why are you so frightened, you who have so little faith?’
Then he stood up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great
calm.”

My mom told me that she went through a very dark and difficult moment in her
mid-life.  She sought guidance from our holy parish priest, and his
counsel and prayers helped her tremendously.  She recently told me over
the phone, “Michael, sometimes it is very hard to have Faith in God.  But
you need to keep trusting, you need to trust that Christ will never let you
down.”  Christ will never give us more than we can handle, and these
storms are wonderful opportunities to grow in our Faith and in our love for
Christ.
