Happy Mother’s Day

On this special day, we can thank our moms for the following:
1. The gift of life- their openness to life and the burden of their pregnancy, all out of love for us.
2. Their commitment to marriage and sincere effort to make it work…not always easy, but it sure brings peace and stability to the home!
3. Their deep Faith and love for Christ…it rubs off on all of us!
4. The many sleepless nights changing diapers, coddling us close to their hearts and feeding us to stop our crying,…
5. The many meals made as a labor of love, with so many details and so often…
6. The clothes that were washed and folded again and again and again…
7. The happy face and generous smile coming from a tired and worn down mind and body.
8. The planning/shopping for our birthday parties, Christmas and vacation.
9. The countless small acts of charity- The thousands of hours spent driving us from one activity to another, sewing buttons on clothes, scrubbing stubborn stains from our pants, making hot chocolate on a cold winter day, etc..
10. Their huge heart that brings warmth, peace, and joy to so many in the home!!
