We all welcome the decree, which gives more clarity to the road ahead. The Legion already is working with Archbishop De Paolis and looks forward to his continuing leadership and guidance. Something all of us need to remember is this is going to be a long, thorough process involving many issues and people.
As Archbishop De Paolis wrote in his letter to the Legionaries, “It will be an individual and community path, walked in an attitude of humility, intense spiritual commitment, and strengthening of the vocation.”
There may be times when the progress seems slow, but the Holy Spirit will be moving us along at the pace that will produce the greatest fruits. Let’s all keep Archbishop De Paolis and the Holy Father in our prayers.
