Offer yourself to God

“Let your constant practice be to offer yourself to God, that He may do with you what He pleases.”  — St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

I encourage all of the parents out there to gently encourage your sons and daughters to be open to the priesthood, or religious or consecrated life. There is such a focus on getting into a certain college and getting a particularly high paying job, that there may be too much internal noise for most to hear the soft voice of God. A mom or dad, making a sincere comment about the beauty of this calling, goes a long way!
