Trust in the Lord

5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

For most of us Legionaries, our 10-14 years of seminary preparation for the priesthood are very challenging.  Personally, I had plenty of moments of darkness and temptations of anxiety towards the future, but I always went back to my firm conviction that Christ called me to the priesthood and that his grace would always be enough for me.  There was a light at the end of every dark tunnel and that light was the person of Jesus Christ.  He would smile and tell me not to worry, and he asked me to trust completely in him.  Prayer gave me tremendous peace and I encourage all of you to turn to Christ when in doubt or trouble.  Trust in him!  Lean on him!  He will not let you down!
