Divine Mercy

“Trust the past to Divine Mercy, the present to Divine Love, and the future to Divine Providence.”  St. Augustine

  1. The Past:  It can be very painful to reflect on past failures or digressions, but you need to entrust all of this to God’s infinite mercy and not waste time and energy on what is in the books. If you have confessed past sins, God has forgiven and forgotten them.  The devil can drain a lot of our time and energy with this temptation.
  2. The Present: Christ is with you in the present, always right by your side with his grace and love…no need to ever be afraid!
  3. The Future: When you feel anxiety toward the future, remember that Christ will never give you more than you can handle.  His plans are always for your benefit, even though at times they may be a little hard to swallow.  Trust in Him and try to pour your energies into the present with great love!

Leave the past, present and future all in the Heart of Christ…He loves you very much and he will not let you down!
