The first school of the catechism is the family

“The first school of catechism is and must be the family! From the father and the mother, from the older brothers and sisters, the little children must receive- along with examples of Christian life- the treasure of the great truths of Divine Revelation.” (Blessed Pope John Paul II, May 24, 1987)

Holy images in a house make a difference. Reserve a prayer corner in your house! Make this a holy space where the family can pray the rosary, make a visit to the Blessed Mother or simply meditate on Sacred Scripture. The house needs to truly become a Domestic Church…Christ wants to be at the center of your lives and it begins at home!
