“Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings.” St. Francis de Sales
As a kid, as long as my dad was around I felt very safe and confident. The first time I jumped into the deep end of a pool, he was there waiting. The first time I rode my bike without training wheels, he was close by to make sure I would make it. When I joined my brothers and dad on the golf course, he was there to cheer me on. The first time I was in a play at school (as the Ghost of Jacob Marley), he was there to encourage me and calm me down. God the Father is not much different, he is always very close by, full of encouragement and he will never give us more than we can handle. We need to trust in him!
