Suffer with love!

“Whenever anything disagreeable or displeasing happens to you, remember Christ crucified and be silent.” St. John of the Cross

I was recently asked to give a talk to a group of pregnant moms. After 14 years of pastoral ministry, I am amazed at the generosity and self-giving of so many young moms out there. Nine months of hidden pain and suffering, several months of recovery and sleepless nights feeding the baby, and everything else has to continue as normal (work, shopping, cooking, cleaning, carpools, etc…) My hats off to these heroic moms!!
