Conversions

“You can win more converts with a spoonful of honey than with a barrelful of vinegar.” (St. Francis de Sales)

I have often made the mistake of dropping a “jolly rancher” in my room and forgot to pick up some of the smaller pieces that have scattered across the floor.  Within a few hours, each of those pieces is covered with a pile of ants that have come out of nowhere.

We all have family members and friends that have wandered a bit from the traditional Catholic path of holiness. Perhaps we have tried apologetics, gentle threats, recommending books, etc…and although this can be effective with some souls, the hardest hearts will only be conquered by the sweetness of our love and lots of prayer!
