His faithful love

His faithful loveJanuary 3, 2016 has become a historic date in my book.

During my hour of prayer that morning, the time flew by as I sat in front of Christ in the Eucharist and made a huge list of gratitude in my journal.

Today is yet another big day to thank you for your love and fidelity, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Legion and Regnum Christi. I don´t have the right words to be able to thank you, but I have my heart. I know I am loved by you that you would lead me to know you so profoundly through Regnum Christi…because I am no one to have achieved or deserved it. You are the one who lovingly led me by the hand throughout my life, showering down your love and showing me the path to my fulfillment in you. Who am I to be so happy, truly happy?

My Jesus, I thank you for The Highlands and all I received there – I thank you for having chosen that formation and family for me. I thank you for K4J and ECyD, where I learned so many of the essentials of my life… where I discovered you as a real person, as a true friend, for who you are, and how you love me. Thank you for sustaining, protecting, and providing for me through ECyD so that the difficulties I faced during my teenage years brought me to you and not away, as they very well could have.

Thank you for the charism you have given me in Regnum Christi. Thank you that it is so strong in my heart, so clear, so peaceful and simple. Thank you for the direction it gives my daily life: deeper into your Sacred Heart.

Thank you for the family of Regnum Christi – that it is true and real, that I´ve experienced it that way so many times, that I am so at home here. Thank you for your fidelity to all of us through our institutional crosses and mistakes, and to me personally in my experience of them.

Thank you for MY experience of Regnum Christi, and for the joy it continues to bring me. Thank you for what Regnum Christi has done for my family, for each one´s path to holiness and in our relationships with each other.

I offer you my life again today, in and for our family.
