There is ongoing Eucharistic Adoration in many of the churches in Krakow. Most of them are always packed with young men and women. In each of those churches there is an Ecclesial Movement that is in charge of the adoration. Regnum Christi also will be in charge of adoration in a parish.
It is so refreshing to spend some quiet time in the presence of Jesus. I believe that is the place where the youth will receive most of the graces during the WYD. Our Lord is so good to us.
Today the translators tested the studio from where we will be interpreting some of the events. The studio is located in a soccer stadium near the main event venue. We will be following the activities by a screen in our translation booth. By the way, a consecrated woman joined us on the translation team today; her name is Magda.
At the heart of Krakow we find the Central Market. This is a meeting point for the youth during this WYD. I went there today and the square was covered with volunteers and pilgrims. They were singing, dancing, chilling out, and making new friends from all over the world.
For the next few days Krakow is becoming the heart of the Catholic Church. Pope Francis, we are waiting for you!
