I bring this up because the movie October Baby is now available to order on DVD. The movie tells the true story about a mother who is reunited with her daughter years after the daughter was adopted out. But this story is very different. Through the efforts of a loving nurse, the child was given to parents who raised her as their own, after her birth mother tried to have an abortion. But the child survived.
The words this woman heard from her daughter were:
“I forgive you.”
