Re-charge with prayer

“Prayer helps us to rediscover the loving face of God.  He never abandons his people but guarantees that, notwithstanding trials and suffering, good triumphs in the end.” (Blessed Pope John Paul II)

It is a powerful witness for me to see so many people praying in the chapel at Our Lady of Bethesda Retreat Center.  Men and women stop in for a 5-10 minute visit; they kneel down and look at Christ in the tabernacle and he looks at them.  Simple but so effective.   No better way to re-charge the batteries and gain the strength necessary to face the struggles of each day.
