If you ever wondered what consecrated women in Regnum Christi have to say about each other, there is a place to find out: 2010 Senior Speaks.
It is a new section on the Mater Ecclesiae College (MEC) website where the senior students are posting their writing assignments from their “writing for the media” course.
MEC is where young women with a passionate love for Christ receive their formation as consecrated women. And this flock of seniors is an amazing group with some rather impressive writing talents.
The first group of articles just started wandering onto the site. They are interviews of consecrated women by consecrated women and they give you a sense of why someone decides to enter such a countercultural lifestyle. I find the stories inspiring. And there are many more to come.
But I should add the disclaimer that I am biased about this, being the “adjunct professor” who is teaching the writing course. I also am terribly blessed; I have the privilege of working with these young women throughout the year.
I have a feeling I’m being evangelized.
