Spiritual Power

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.” – Zechariah 4:6

I recently asked a group of Jr. LTP kids (3rd and 4th graders) who was the toughest kid in the room.  Most of them rolled up their sleeves and tried to flex their muscles.  Then I asked the boys what is the key quality of toughness and one of the boys raised his hand and pointed to his heart.

Daily prayer and a strong Sacramental life not only builds a strong moral character, but makes you more docile to the Holy Spirit.  If God is with us and in us, we have no need to be afraid of anything or anyone.
