Let your light shine

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16)

In a certain way, I believe that God can often shine his heavenly spotlight on certain souls…asking us to notice and learn from their example.  In particular, I ask all of you to look at your parish priests who spend their entire existence doing good to others.  Hospital calls in the middle of the night, long hours in the confessional, time spent preparing their homilies, funerals with all the attention that is needed for the family, preparing couples for marriage and counseling couples so they stay married, personal health issues that they do not have time to resolve, etc.

Please, thank your Parish priest for their constant dedication and service!
