Be anxious for nothing

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

There is plenty to be anxious about in today’s world: an unsettling economy, nuclear proliferation among terrorist countries, stress concerning future jobs for our young people, etc…  But the two things that are in your control are your Faith and your family life.  If these are going well, everything else could be blowing up and falling apart, but you will still have deep inner peace.  Fight to keep your marriage strong!  Work hard to keep your family united in true Christian charity!  And pray every day, begging God for the graces to be faithful to his plan over your life!
