Go to the chapel

“The LORD said ” Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.” 1 Kings 19:11-13

It matters where you pray.  I really look forward to my 30 minutes of adoration of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament at the end of each day.  I need to leave the noise of the world, I need to leave my phone and computer, I need to leave all the distractions and simply find refuge in the chapel with Christ.  It is there, in the quiet and silence of the chapel, where I can have my “heart to heart” with my best friend, my greatest treasure and my all!  This is what keeps me going in my priesthood, and I encourage all of you to make this a priority.
