Pray for our seminarians

“Virtue is nothing without the trial of temptation, for there is no conflict without an enemy, no victory without strife.”- Saint Leo the Great

Behind every priest in the Legionaries of Christ, there is at least 14 years of seminary and pastoral formation. Much of this time is spent grinding it out, studying the classical authors in Greek or Latin, or analyzing Philosophical/Theological treatises in Italian. This can be a challenge, especially for energetic young men in their 20’s, but the goal of preparing themselves well for their future priesthood is what drives this effort along. I am always deeply edified by their joy, true charity, enthusiasm and dedication as well. Please pray for all seminarians, that they persevere in this humble and hidden undertaking!!
