RCMC experience in Magdala

Jennifer Ristine, Consecrated woman of RC in Magdala, offers a reflection on Mary Magdalene’s encounter with Jesus.

Regnum Christi Mission Corps missionaries participated in a retreat offered in Magdala on their pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  It was an awesome experience.  I hope many other groups will make the most of this site and do the same.

In Easter week the RCMCs dove into the gospels in Magdala, spending a morning of prayer in Magdala, the first century town where it is believed that Jesus likely taught in the synagogue.

Fr Timothy Meehan, LC on site in Magdala, offers a reflection on Jesus’ teaching and healing ministry from inside the synagogue.

After a meditation on the Hemorrhaging woman and Jesus’ merciful love that purifies and cleanses us, Angie Hilbun and Helen Yalbir, consecrated women accompanying the RCMCs, participated it a washing of feet activity in the Encounter chapel.
