Staying on the path of God’s Will

“To be a disciple of Christ is not a guarantee of always remaining on the path; rather it is a commitment- a promise – to stay as near to the path as the will allows, and to struggle back onto the path after straying.” — St. John Chrysostom

It is relatively easy to swerve off the trail of God’s Will…but the key is to fight your way back or even go back to where you left the trail and begin anew. God is not concerned with perfection, but he does want us to continually get back up, adjust our will to his will and keep our focus on eternity…
