Unanswered prayers

“I am sure God keeps no one waiting unless He sees that it is good for him to wait.” —  CS Lewis

As a kid, my parents denied many of my requests: an extra bowl of ice-cream, permission to stay up later or sleep over with a friend of questionable character, or not allowing me to watch a particular movie or tv show, etc… God, as our Father, will always listen to our requests, but he may either deny it or delay the response based on what he sees is both our temporal and eternal good. We need to trust in his love and his wisdom!
