A message from Christ to you in this new year
My dear child, I have set before you a new path: the path of 2013.
The path before you is long and narrow. So many people have turned away in discouragement and disappointment when they see it, without even waiting to see the genuine joy and infinite graces that accompany it! I know the last year may have been a difficult one, and I can’t promise that this year the path will be short and easy. But I do promise My presence with you always, and you can always count on My arms when you feel like you will collapse from the long journey. I will be your Strength and your Means of Perseverance, if you let Me!
The path before you is broken. It is by no means perfect, and by the world’s standards, it is not worth following. It has bumps and potholes and obstacles of many kinds. But this is not to overwhelm you. These trials are not meant to end your journey, they are meant to make you stronger! When you fall or encounter an obstacle, look to Me; how can a Father refuse to reach down his arms to his little one who cries out to him with simplicity, love, and equally outstretched arms? Every struggle, every roadblock can bring you closer to Me. I will be your guide, your rock, and your healer, if you let Me!
The path before you is beautiful. The road is not all dark and difficult, there are countless blessings, graces, and moments of joy waiting around every bend in the road, if you only choose to take this path! If you are willing to sacrifice your own desires and the empty promises with which the world bombards you, I will reward you beyond your wildest dreams! Every day there are countless little miracles that happen around you. I will open your eyes and shower you with graces. I will be your Light and your Source of Joy on this path, if you let Me!
The path before you is hand crafted by me, made especially for you. I know everything about you: what makes you happy, what you struggle with, what passions and dreams and desires fill your heart. I know everything you have ever thought, spoken, and done, and ever will think, say and do. After seeing every tiny aspect about you, I have created and molded this path for you with my own hands, because I know it will bring you peace and happiness much greater than you would ever encounter on your own path. Trust that I truly want what’s best for you my child. I will be your Father, and your most intimate Friend on this journey, if you let me!
If you let me, I will personally lead you on this long, broken, yet beautiful path made by Me. If you are willing to step off your own path onto mine, it will work for your good. I promise you, my child, that this is a path of hope, and ultimately a path of triumph. But your part is important. I can’t go against your freedom; you have to let me lead you. So take my hand, step onto the path, and do not fear; the path before you is MINE!
