Blessed are they who are tempted!

“Blessed are they who are tempted! It is when the devil sees that a soul is tending towards union with God that he redoubles his efforts.” (St. John Vianney)

The devil’s greatest fear is seeing our desire for holiness and that we put prayer and the Sacraments as a priority in our lives. As long as our prayer life is rock solid and we are living with great love and great purity of intention…there is no need to fear, even though the barrage of temptations can be intense. Christ protects his intimate friends!
