The Blessed Virgin Mary Cares for Us!

“By her maternal charity, Mary cares for the brethern of her Son who still wander through this world in the midst of dangers and difficulties until they are led to the happiness of their heavenly home.” (Vatican II, Lumen Gentium, n. 61)

Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The Blessed Virgin Mary cares for each one of us in a special and unique way, and as our “heavenly mom”, she truly desires to help! I join my fellow Legionaries in making a visit to Our Blessed Mother before going to bed every night. Here in DC, we all gather around a large image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and after a heart to heart conversation, we ask for three things:

1. To be faithful and holy priests until death.

2. To protect and help our own families and our Legionary family.

3. To protect and help the Pope and the Church.
