A rumor persists on some blogs that the Papal Delegate to the Legion of Christ has asked certain Legion superiors to resign their positions and they have refused to do so.  Let’s set the record straight:  Any Legionary of Christ, superior or not, would obey whatever the Papal Delegate asks him to do – including resign his position.
