Christ is in the passenger seat: patient endurance!

“I have found that the greatest power is hidden patience. I see that patience always leads to victory, although not immediately; but that victory will become manifest after many years.” – St. Faustina

Stock car racing demands patience and perseverance.  These guys drive at super high speeds of close to 200 mph for 500 miles with other cars constantly trying to pass them and jockey for position.  Most moms and dads that I know live in this same environment…super high pace living which can go on for many years and the checkered flag can seem a long way off.   The key is to remember that Christ is right there in the passenger seat with a big smile and a warm look of confidence.  He will stay in your car until the very end, and he will help you through whatever situation lies ahead….flat tires, engine blowouts, whatever!  We need to trust in him!!
